When The Rock shows up at a WWE event, you know something big is about to go down, and that’s just what happened on Friday night in New Orleans on Smackdown when the World’s Most Electrifying Man showed up and announced that Wrestlemania 42 would be held in The Big Easy next year.
“Finally, The Rock has come back to New Orleans,” the excited crowd screamed as The Rock paused to let them finish his famous saying.
“And, finally, Wrestlemania is coming back to New Orleans,” continued The Rock as the crowd exploded. “And we’re going to make it official right now. In front of the world, next year, 2026, Wrestlemania 42, live from the Super Dome in one of the greatest cities in the world….New Orleans, Louisiana!”
Wrestlemania 41 takes place this April 19th and 20th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and next year’s event, Wrestlemania 42 will take place at the Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans on April 11th and 12th.
