Terence Crawford Knocks Off Canelo Alvarez In Boxing Super Fight

Crawford's place in boxing is forever cemented.

After defeating Canelo Alvarez this past weekend, Terrence “Bud” Crawford has etched his name as one of the greatest boxers of this generation and in the history of boxing, period.

In the super fight between the two stars, Crawford displayed his skillset to the world as he controlled the pace and tempo against one of the best fighters of this generation.

Crawford also moved up two weight classes to take the fight, and many questioned whether it would hamper him against the bigger and more powerful Alvarez.

Well, Crawford silenced all of the critics with a dominating performance that left Canelo frustrated and earned Crawford the unanimous decision victory, 115-113, 115-113, 116-112.

Although Bud is 42-0 in his legendary career, many view this fight as the greatest win in his career, bigger than his fight against Errol Spence Jr. in 2023, and say that it’s the fight cemented his name as one of the greatest the sport has ever seen.

Crawford is now a four-division world champion and the first fighter in the four-belt era to become an undisputed champion in three different weight classes (welterweight, super middleweight, and junior welterweight).
