The Seattle Seahawks squeezed past the Arizona Cardinals 23-20 in a late night thriller on Thursday night football.
Although Arizona lost this close matchup they fought back from a double digit deficit to have a 52-yard field goal from Seahawks kicker Jason Myers be the ultimate difference in the game.
Seattle was led by QB Sam Darnold, who went 18-26 for 242 yards passing with a touchdown and no turnovers.
Turnovers would be the deciding factor as Kyler Murray, who went 27-41 for 200 yards passing with 2 TDs, had two of the Cardinals turnovers.
Seattle moved to 3-1 on the season and have put themselves in a great position to start the season.
Meanwhile, Arizona sits at 2-2 and wonders “what if” after losing to a division rival.
The Seahawks will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while the Cardinals will host the winless Tennessee Titans.
Neither team will forget this matchup and will be ready for their next face-off later this season.
