Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers did not disappoint in her return to Connecticut as she led the Wings to a 109-87 win over the Connecticut Sun.
Bueckers went off for 21 points on 8-10 from the field along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
The Wings also received a great contribution from Arike Ogunbowale, who added 19 points and 6 steals.
This was Paige’s first game in back Connecticut since she starred for the Huskies at UConn, where she won a national title this past season.
“Felt great to just play like that as a team and obviously that environment is special to me,” said Bueckers after the game.
This marks Dallas’ first win of the season and the first WNBA win for Bueckers.
