Knicks Shock Pacers With Second Half Game 3 Comeback

KAT's 4Q heroics propels NY to a huge win.

On Sunday night, the Knicks shocked the state of Indiana by staging another 20-point comeback and beat the Pacers on the road 106-100.

It was a must-win for New York, who now trail the Pacers 2-1. Most importantly, it keeps their championship hopes alive heading into Game 3 in Indiana.

With their superstar Jalen Brunson in foul trouble and having a poor night, the team turned to Karl-Anthony Towns in the 4Q, and he responded, scoring 20 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in the final period to propel the team to victory.

Also contributing were OG Anunoby (16 points and 3 blocks, including a team-best 4-6 from three-point land) and a bench seldom used by Tom Thibedeau, including Delon Wright and Landry Shamet. The two combined for only 5 points, but it was their effort during the Knicks run in the second half that played a crucial part in the win.

After a road win like Sunday night, New York still has a great chance to win this series if they can even the series on Tuesday night, which is a good possibility as they have a 6-1 record on the road in the playoffs this year.

But if the Knicks have any hope of winning the series, they will need more big games from KAT and their leader, Jalen Brunson.
