The Indiana Pacers have reversed their decision to ban Tyrese Haliburton’s father, John Haliburton, from attending home games.
This comes less than a month after John Haliburton confronted Milwaukee All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court after the Pacers’ close-out game win against the Bucks in Indiana.
After the game, Antetokounmpo said that John’s actions were, “Very, very disrespectful and totally unacceptable.”
Some, including Charles Barkley, feel that Tyrese’s father has served his time and advocated for the suspension to be lifted and the Pacers agreed, so he was allowed to attend Game 4 in Indiana but only in a suite, not in the arena’s lower-level seats where he normally is.
He missed eight total games after the Giannis incident, four of which have been in Indiana. He will be in attendance for Game 6 of the team’s series against the Knicks on Saturday.
