Carmelo Anthony Joins NBC’s Upcoming NBA Broadcast Team

Anthony will be a studio analyst for NBC.

10x NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony is joining NBC as a studio analyst when the network reunites with the NBA for the 2025-26 season this fall.

Anthony joins a growing list of former NBA players hired by networks for their NBA coverage. This includes Jamal Crawford (NBC), Reggie Miller (NBC), and Udonis Haslem (ESPN).

In January, Amazon, which joins NBC and ESPN as the NBA’s broadcast partners through the league’s new 11-year, $77 billion media rights deal, added Taylor Rooks, Dirk Nowitzki and Blake Griffin to helm its NBA studio show.

For the 40-year-old Carmelo, who retired from the game in 2023, it’s another job to add to his growing resume which includes entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor and podcast host.
