Brooklyn Nets Set Franchise Record By Taking 61 Three-Pointers

Unfortunately, they lost.

Many criticize today’s NBA game, saying it’s boring, repetitive and predictable with no ball movement. It’s just come down and shoot threes.

On Wednesday night, the Brooklyn Nets gave this crowd more fire to rail against the league as they attempted 61 three-pointers.

The 61 attempts not only set a new franchise record but also tied them with the Rockets, Mavericks, Hawks and Celtics for fifth place on the all-time single-game three-pointers attempted list.

The Nets went 38-93 from the field, which means that they attempted only 32 two-pointers, and hit 15 of them.

Their opponent, the OKC Thunder shot 30 three-pointers, but only hit 9 of them.

And while the Nets were up by 15 at one point, the Thunder rallied in the firth quarter for a 129-121 win in Brooklyn.

You would think with 61 3’s hoisted up Brooklyn would have won. Sadly, it didn’t pan out that way.
