Over recent months Alabama has been loading up on talent for their 2026 recruiting class. After landing a few stars, Alabama has cracked the top 10 for 2026.
When looking at Alabama and the job they have done it starts with their defense. The defense was pretty good last year and it aims to get much better with their top defensive prospect is linebacker Xavier Griffin.
Griffin is from Gainesville, Georgia. At 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, he is a versatile player who can line up across the formation in various spots such as outside backer, edge rusher, and more.
Alabama also landed 5-star safety Jireh Edwards. He is currently ranked at the No. 2 safety in the 2026 class. Edwards chose Alabama over other schools like Georgia, and Auburn.
The secondary will also be boosted by landing two top-10 corners in this class. Both Jorden Edmonds and Zyan Gibson look to be big contributors to this Alabama football team.
On offense, the best prospect that committed in this 2026 class was Ezavier Crowell. He is the No. 3 running back in the class. Crowell is a great prospect as he is 5-foot-11 with great power and vision.
The final piece that Alabama was able to land was 4-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan. He is a 6-foot-4 prospect that has tremendous potential. Morgan is currently ranked as the No.6 wide receiver in this class.
When committing to Alabama, Morgan expressed that his relationship with coaches and assistants helped him make a decision.
After a down year last season, Alabama looks retooled and prepared to make some noise in this upcoming season as they have landed many five and four star recruits over the past few months.
