Dodgers Sweep Brewers And Advance To World Series

The Dodgers aim to be back-to-back MLB champs.

The Los Angeles Dodgers once again shine bright as they swept the Milwaukee Brewers, 4-0, to advance to their second consecutive World Series.

With a combination of great timely hitting, elite pitching, and playoff experience, the Dodgers were able to easily advance over the Brewers, outscoring them 15-4 in the four games.

It was a series for the Dodgers stars to shine, particularly Shohei Ohtani.

In Game 4, Ohtani cemented his presence in baseball history after he hit three home runs and had 10 strikeouts in six innings pitched. That made the Dodgers star the 12th player in history to hit three homers in a postseason game and, most impressively, the first pitcher to hit multiple homeruns in a postseason game.

That performance earned him the NLCS MVP award.

The Dodgers now await either the Toronto Blue Jays or Seattle Mariners, who face off in Game 6 on Sunday night in Toronto with the Mariners leading the series 3-2.
