Malachi Toney Has Become One To Watch For The Miami Hurricanes

Toney is one to watch.

Miami’s true freshman receiver Malachi Toney has been nothing short of spectacular for the Hurricanes since the start of the season.

In his college debut, Toney had six catches for 82 yards and a touchdown against a tough Notre Dame defense.

And that was just the beginning.

Against the Florida State Seminoles in a battle for the state of Florida, Toney went off for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns.

While he’s only played five games so far this season, he already has 29 receptions for 375 yards and 3 touchdowns.

He talents on the field are easy to see, particularly his elite route running, yards after the catch and overall playmaking ability, and he’s one of the reasons why Miami (5-0) is the no.2 ranked team in the country.

The Hurricanes’ next game comes against 4-1 Louisville in another pivotal ACC battle. If the Cardinals want to pull the upset, they’re going to need to know when Toney is at all times, otherwise it could be a tough night.
