Bengals and Trey Hendrickson End Hold In Through New Deal

The star DE gets his payday.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Trey Hendrickson have come to an agreement on a new deal that ends his hold-in.

This season, the star defensive end gets a $30 million deal, which is a $14 million increase. After this season Hendrickson will become an unrestricted free agent.

Prior to receiving the deal, Hendrickson did not participate in any off-season workouts or practices with the Bengals.

Even though the star DE is recognized as one of the best in the business, he has not been able to secure a long term deal with Cincinnati.

At 30 years old Hendrickson is coming off his best season where lead the league in sacks with 17.5. He also had 17.5 sacks in 2023 showcasing his consistent dominance.

Although the Bengals have this superstar talent locked away for this year, Hendrickson’s long-term presence with the Bengals could be done after this season.
