Terry McLaurin has decided to end his hold-in and re-sign with the Washington Commanders.
On Monday, McLaurin and the Commanders agreed on a three-year, $96 million extension, ending a dispute and putting him back on the field in time for the start of the season next week.
His massive new deal, which begins next season and will pay him $32 million per year, ranks sixth among NFL wide receivers, tying him with the Eagles’ AJ Brown.
The 2x Pro Bowler had one of his best seasons last year after pairing with rookie QB sensation, Jayden Daniels.
McLaurin posted 82 catches for 1,096 yards and 13 TDs, the latter of which is a career-high for the veteran receiver.
That now gives Daniels his WR no.1 back and lets the Commanders focus on making an even bigger run this season.
