Fever’s Kelsey Mitchell Goes Off In Blowout Win Over The Sky

The Fever need a spark with Caitlin Clark sidelined.

Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell had a monster night in the Fever’s 93-78 win over the Sky.

The starting guard for the Fever exploded for 35 points on 12-19 shooting from the field along with 3 steals and 6 assists.

This performance comes at a timely moment for Indiana as they are without their best player, Caitlin Clark, due to groin injury. This means that they need someone else to carry the load offensively.

The Fever are now 14-12 this season and are on a two game winning streak where they have beaten both the Sky and Aces.

Their next game is on 7/30 against the Mercury as they will face a slightly better team record wise as they currently sit at 16-9 in the season.

Even though the Mercury have a better record, the Fever have a 67.7% chance to win this game according to ESPN analytics.

After a dominating performance by Kelsey Mitchell, the Fever must continue this mini hot streak as they compete for playoff positioning.
