Indiana Pacers Take Commanding 2-0 Lead Over NY Knicks

Pacers increase the chances for a sweep.

The Indiana Pacers held off the Knicks 114-109 for a second straight game at MSG and now a commanding 2-0 league over the Knicks.

The Pacers were led by Pascal Siakam who scored a playoff career-high 39 points in the win.

While Siakam led the Pacers, the entire team made key contributions in the game, including their starters, with each reaching double-digits in scoring. This is something Indiana has done during their run in the postseason.

The series now moves to Indiana for the next two games, with the Pacers now in position for a possible sweep over New York and a trip to the Finals for the first time since 2000, which is when they beat the Knicks to advance to the Finals to play the Lakers.

While the Knicks have dug themselves in a deep hole, the series is not over for New York, especially after showing that they can win on the road.

Game 3 takes place on Sunday evening in Indiana.
