The New York Knicks are finally back in business.
Last month, star guard Jalen Brunson and newly acquired center Karl-Anthony Towns
were named All-Star starters.
With that honor, they became the first Knicks duo to start in an All-Star game since Walt “Clyde” Frazier and Earl “The Pearl” Monroe in 1975.
Both players have been playing very well and are the main reasons why the team sits in third place overall in the Eastern Conference.
Karl is having a dominant season, averaging 24.3 ppg points and 13.6 rpg. Many thought he was done after being traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team that drafted him, but he seems refreshed after returning to his hometown area.
Brunson, the team’s unquestioned team leader, is also having another amazing season, 25.7 ppg and 7.5 apg.
Through the talents of these two All-Stars, coupled with the play of others like recent triple-double machine Josh Hart, the Knicks are in the conversation for a run at a title.
