Utah was led by star forward Lauri Markkanen, who erupted for 47 points on 15-33 shooting from the field. He also added 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
The great performance demonstrates the unique skillset and ability of the Utah forward and shows that he can be the number one option for the team, including down the stretch in a close game.
If he can continue his dominant performance and the team’s young players continue their development, the Jazz may be able to make serous noise in the western conference.
The Jazz now move to 5-8 on the season and the Chicago bulls fall to 6-6.
