Broncos Hold Off Chiefs In Heated Division Match-Up

The Broncos are looking scary.

In a close and competitive division rivalry game, the Denver Broncos knocked off the Kansas City Chiefs, 22-19.

Denver was able to secure this victory the same way they have been winning this season- consistent defense, timely stops, and clutch plays late by Bo Nix and the offense.

This win puts Denver firmly in charge of the AFC West and in the driver’s seat in the AFC as a whole. It’s also a warning sign for Kansas City, which has controlled both for the last few years.

The last time the chiefs didn’t win their division was in 2015, but after falling to the Broncos and sitting at 5-5, the hopes of another division title, and even playoff birth, aren’t looking good.

The Broncos are currently 9-2 record and have already won one of the two matchups against the Chiefs.

This win puts the league on notice that the Broncos are for real and could be that way for many years to come.
